The Arabic is the Uthmani script of the Qur'an, taken directly from the Tanzil text rather than retyped by hand, and set in Amiri Quran — a typeface built specifically for correct Qur'anic vowel and mark placement.

About the English

The English is a plain-language rendering of the meaning, written for this collection and cross-checked against six established translations. As with every English version of the Qur'an, it is an interpretation of the meaning rather than a formal translation, offered as a companion to the Arabic.

Original artwork

Every element of the carpet — the palmette borders, herati field, corner medallions, guard stripes and woven texture — was drawn from scratch for this collection. No stock imagery and no scanned carpets were used.

Printing tips

Use heavyweight matte or cotton paper. Choose "actual size" or "100% scale" rather than "fit to page" so the borders stay true. Matte suits this artwork far better than gloss.
